The mission of the A.L.I.V.E. Active Shooter Survival Training program is to educate every person on how to increase their chance of survival when facing an active killer, by implementing the 5-steps of A.L.I.V.E. learned through either in-person or online training.

You should be able to go to work, send your kids to school or take college classes yourself, enter a government building or healthcare facility, attend your place of worship, go to the movies, go shopping at the mall, or see your favorite band play without being afraid for your life. However, our society is becoming increasingly violent and less than 5% of Americans have taken any form of active shooter survival training.
How prepared are you if violence suddenly forces itself into your world?
No one should have to worry about not seeing their loved ones at the end of the day because some coward decides to take their inability to cope with the world they’ve created, out on innocent people in the form of mass killing. Yet right now, TODAY, this is a fear that many Americans must live with daily and to me, is unacceptable!

"My name is Liz Moreno.… about three years ago you came in and gave us your A.L.I.V.E. training course… but I never in a million years thought I’d have to use it.
On October 1st I was in Las Vegas at the Route 91 Harvest Festival... when all of a sudden I heard what sounded like firecrackers… Everyone immediately got down in a big pile… in that very second… your training popped into my head. I told my boyfriend, “We need to leave!”
I truly believe taking your training is what told me to make that decision and say without a doubt that we have to run, which ultimately saved us. Had we stayed there we may have gotten shot, trampled or who knows what.
Liz Moreno, A.L.I.V.E. Training Student
